The Concept

As the creator of the concept in 1980,  R. Nelson Nash, simply put it this way.

“This book is not about … investments of any kind.  It is about how one finances the things of life, which can certainly include investments.   It is not about rates of return.  As time goes by interest rates are up and interest rates are down — but the process of banking goes on no matter what is happening.  It is a well known fact that banks make more money during times of low interest rates than when rates are high.”

This is not a get rich quick concept, to the contrary it requires long range planning.  As Nelson states in his now famous book "Becoming Your Own Banker, Unlock the Infinite Banking Concept, "Plan as if you are going to live forever and live as if you are going to die today."

The client needs to have Desire, Determination and Discipline in order to follow through and become the banker.  As you fund your policies cash value by using your money more efficiently you will have taken the steps to Control the Banking function in your life.  You now have a pool of cash you can draw on anytime, as there is no such thing as having too much money. 

As you create "passive income" money will begin flowing to you that you can count on without you having to do anything to earn it.  As you begin thinking like a banker, money that once was flowing away from you will begin to flow back to you.  

Implementing the Infinite Banking Concept is a major paradigm shift for most people towards becoming your own source of financing away from third party lenders.  Once you have opened your mind and begun the process of learning to become your own banker it will become a life long process. As stated so succinctly "if you are not willing to learn, no one can help you, if you are willing to learn, no one can stop you," Zig Ziglar.
